Yes, we can! We have developed a system designed to catalogue and organise entire libraries, tailored to the requirements of individual owners. Art||Library is a management system provided and maintained exclusively by Thomas Heneage Art Books. It is specifically designed to service the libraries of Art Dealers, Antique Dealers, Auction Houses, Galleries and Collectors. For more information, please read the section on Art||Library.

Yes, we can.  We have been in the business of assembling art libraries for clients for over thirty years, all over the world.  If you would like to know more, please read our section Library Building. Yes, you can. We buy individual books as well as entire libraries, and are always keen to hear about interesting books to purchase. If you are considering selling your books to us, please send us an email with photographs of the books (an image of the title on the spine is enough). If you cannot send photos, please send details for each of the publications: title, author, publisher and year of publication, as well as format, i.e.: hard cover or softcover. If a book is still in print we are happy to accept it for return or exchange. Otherwise, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange for out-of-print books. 

We only accept gift vouchers issued by us.   Any remaining credit will be retained for future use.   We do not accept national book tokens.

We accept cash, Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and American Express. We are also happy to take payment by bank transfer or cheque, but please note we cannot release your book/s until the cheque has been cleared by the bank.  While we do not accept National Book Tokens, we are happy to take payment with our own Thomas Heneage Art Books gift cards. 

Yes. We have years of experience in finding rare books and we like a challenge! However, please bear in mind our specialism is in art books and antiquarian books.

It depends on what kind of shipment was chosen. Royal Mail items should arrive between 3-5 days within the UK, 10-14 days within the EU, and three weeks for the rest of the world.  If sent by courier, your book/s should arrive in 2 days within the UK, and 3-5 days in the EU or anywhere else in the world.

Not yet. Our e-commerce website is presently under construction. You can buy books directly from our shop in Mayfair, or, if you prefer you can order a book from us by email or phone on +44-20-7930-9223 which we can either send to you or you can collect in person from our shop.  We can take payment over the phone or email by card or by bank transfer. 

Yes, you can buy gift vouchers from us, for use in our shop only.  They can be purchased in person, by email, or over the phone on +44 20 7930 9223.

Yes, we can send books anywhere in the UK or internationally.  We have a flat standard rate of £10 for courier deliveries within the UK. As art books are usually very heavy it is often more expensive to send by Royal Mail than by courier. If you are based in Mayfair or nearby, we may be able to deliver by hand free of charge.  Otherwise, international packing and shipping is calculated by size, weight and destination, and we will give you a quote before completing your order.
