Divided into 4 sections: Archipenko's and Donas' first years in Paris between 1900 and 1917, their eventual move to Niece during the First World War; their relationship during 1917 and 1920, their efforts to promote Donas' work through various pseudonyms, the 1919 joint exhibition at Librairie Kundig in Geneva, her exhibition at Der Sturm in Berlin, and the early collectors of her work (the Japanese Sadanosuke Nakada and the American Katherine Breier); The creation of La Section d'Or group and the exhibition in Galerie la Boëtie in Paris, their pop-up show in Antwerp during the Olympics and the exhibition in Galerie Selection in Brussels; the end of their relationship between 1920 and 1923, and the Exposition Internationale d'Art Moderne in Geneva.
