Major new work reassessing the identity of the 'Maestro dei Bambini Turbolenti', a previously unidentified sculptor active in Florence at the beginning of the 16th century. Principi has identified the artist as Sandro di Lorenzo, an artist with a known biography but no previously known works. Includes a catalogue raisonné of accepted works, as well as an examination of works now removed from the corpus.
