Warhol and Basquiat signed approximately 160 paintings as 'four-handed'. This exhibition features more than 100 of these jointly signed paintings, in addition to collabarative works with other artists, such as Francesco Clemente, individual works by Basquiat and Warhol, and works by other major artists (Keith Haring, Jenny Holzer, Kenny Scharf, etc.) in order to recreate the New York downtown art scene of the 1980s. Includes interviews with, amongst others, Bruno Bischofberger, Francesco Clemente and Paige Powell.
