Includes 17th and 18th-century inventories of drawings by Reni. Followed by a fully illustrated catalogue of 164 works with most discussed in detail. The catalogue is divided into ten categories following Reni's career and discussing motifs like the 'heavenward gaze' and the male nude. Concludes with a biography.
