A new catalogue raisonné of the drawings of the Mannerist painter Giuseppe Cesari (c.1568 - 3 July 1640). Much favoured by Pope Clement VIII, who honoured him with the title of Cavaliere di Cristo, his was the studio in which Caravaggio and Andrea Sacchi were trained. This volume presents more than 300 of the artist's drawings, many reproduced here for the first time alongside previously unpublished paintings.  Text in Italian.
